Burning Mesh is the decentralized, off-grid Meshtastic deployment at Burning Man, designed to keep camps, art cars, and adventurers connected across the playa – even with no cell service or WiFi. Whether you're tracking your friends or coordinating builds, we’ve got you covered with long-range LoRa mesh networking.
What We Do
Playa-Wide Communication – Send and receive text messages, GPS locations, and alerts across Black Rock City with Meshtastic devices.
Off-Grid Mesh Network – Built on solar-powered LoRa radios for reliable, low-power networking without infrastructure.
Community-Driven Tech – Built by Burners, for Burners — we support open-source firmware, hardware hacks, and radical collaboration.
